This was an interesting project, a client had her fathers old drafting table. It had a cupped top and broken frame, but she didn’t want to give up on it. I was able to rebuild the top and match some Douglas Fir I had in stock to build the legs. The design was a collaborative process between the client and myself. It was built with the legs bolted on for ease of moving, and the round pieces shown in the detail are removable wooden end caps for the bolts.
